The short version: browsing and watching are fully anonymous and untracked, no exceptions. A free account is only required to vote, comment, or save favorites, and even then we keep only what running the account itself requires — unless you separately opt in to analytics tracking (off by default, see below). We're not selling anything today. You are the user, not the product.
House 4 Ads (house4ads.com) is a free site for discovering and watching commercials, organized by category and brand. We sell nothing directly — when you're ready to buy, we link you out to sellers. Privacy is not a feature of this site; it is the reason it exists.
No sign-up is needed to browse or watch — that stays completely anonymous and untracked, with no exceptions: no tracking pixels, no third-party analytics, no advertising trackers, no behavioral profiling, no fingerprinting. Voting, commenting, and saving favorites require a free account (just an email and password). Signed-in account holders can separately choose to opt in to analytics tracking (see the "Personalized tracking" bullet below) — off by default, and never applied to anyone who hasn't explicitly turned it on.
localStorage entries remembering your light/dark theme choice and which ads you've voted on, plus a session cookie if you're signed in. They never leave your browser (aside from the session cookie, sent only to us) and you can clear them anytime.Commercials on this site are embedded from YouTube using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) wherever possible, which is designed not to store identifying cookies before you press play. Once you play a video, you are interacting with YouTube, and Google's privacy policy applies to that playback. On our side, we don't see who watched what unless you're signed in and have separately opted in to personalized tracking (see "What we collect" above) — for anonymous browsing, and for signed-in users who haven't opted in, we never see who watched what.
Links to YouTube, brands, or retailers take you to sites we don't control, each with its own privacy practices. Anything that happens after you leave House 4 Ads is between you and that site — we receive no data back about what you do there.

This site is a general-audience site. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children either.
Privacy laws like the GDPR and CCPA give you rights over personal data a site holds about you — access, deletion, correction, and opting out of sale. If you never created an account, this is moot: we hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing to access, correct, sell, or delete. If you did create an account, the only personal data we hold is your email — contact us anytime to see it, correct it, or delete your account entirely, no questions asked.
If our practices ever change further, this page will be updated before the change takes effect, and the core promise will not be broken: no harvesting, no selling of personal data, ever. Check the "last updated" date above.
